Do I need my own M-Pesa till?
You can connect a till or paybill you already have, or use TopDuka collections and receive a single settlement. Connecting your own keeps the customer-facing name yours.
What does TopDuka charge per transaction?
Between 1.5% and 0.5% depending on plan, on top of whatever your payment provider charges. Enterprise rates are negotiated and can reach zero at volume.
How does cash on delivery work?
The order is created as unpaid and reserved against stock. Your rider marks it collected in the app, which closes the order and posts the cash to the day’s ledger.
Can I issue refunds?
Yes, in full or in part, back to the original method where the provider supports it and as a recorded cash refund where it does not. Stock is returned automatically.
